The chapter worked hard to recruit new members. Throughout
the school year the chapter members and officers took advantage of many
opportunities to recruit. The chapter did this by speaking to
potential members, handing out pamphlets, inviting people to sit in on meetings,
and maintaining the chapter bulletin board.
Some of the events the chapter recruited at include:
- Spring Fling
- Fall Festival
- Registration Days
- Club Spirit Day
- Hot Dog Sales (Fundraiser)
- We also held a recruitment booth February 12
- 23, 2007. We had a wonderful time meeting many potential recruits.
Visibility on Campus
Throughout the 2006-2007 year, the chapter worked to
be visible on campus. From our fundraisers to other events sponsored by
Fayetteville Technical Community College the members spread the word about Phi
Beta Lambda. The members designed two bulletin board with information about the
chapter and Phi Beta Lambda. Applications for membership and upcoming events
were also placed on the bulletin board. Members also made signs and placed them
around the campus inviting people to meetings, asking for help with our
community service projects and also letting them know about fundraisers. |
