School and Community
Fayetteville Technical Community College is one of 59 institutions in
the North Carolina Community College System. The College offers over 112
degrees, certificate and diploma programs. During 2002-2003 there were 13,874
curriculum students and 24,773 continuing education students. Phi Beta Lambda
attracts members from many curriculum areas such as:

The Omicron Beta Tau Chapter at Fayetteville Technical Community College is
located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The population of Fayetteville, which
includes Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base, is just over 300,000. Fayetteville
is Cumberland County's county seat and its largest municipality. Fort Bragg and
Pope Air Force Base are the backbone of the county's economy. Fort Bragg and
Pope Air Force Base pump about 4.5 billion a year into the region's economy,
making it one of the best retail markets in the country.
Chapter History
The Omicron Beta Tau Chapter was chartered November 19, 1993 by
Gerald Lininger, Brenda Britt, Pam Jackson, and Sandra Vernon.
